Estimating the Optimum Weight for Latticed Power-Transmission Towers Using Different (AI) Techniques

The recent expansion of power-distribution networks has motivated many researchers to study how minimize the costs such projects. Although transmission towers present one main items in network that greatly affect project budget, there are no clear criteria or recommendations select optimum bracing system minimizes tower weight. This research presents configurations for latticed power-transmission towers, segment by segment, certain loads, as well aspect ratio. started generating a database with different and their weights, then three most famous AI techniques (GP, ANN EPR) were used generate models calculate weights segments. Studying these led conclusion K-shape is better X-shape segments ratios (H/B) less than 1.0. generated conclusions verified using existing designs.
